However, as explained by the Statistisches Bundesamt Deutschland, the value of Portuguese entries in Germany in 2017 is inflated due to registration problems in the years of 2015 and 2016. Most of the entries registered in 2017 actually occurred in those two previous years. Also according to those explanations, of the 17,750 entries registered in 2017, only 7,095 happened on that year. The remaining 10,655 entries occurred in previous years but were only recorded in 2017. The values of this indicator for the years 2015 and 2016 are therefore subcontracted, those of 2017 inflated and the growth registered between 2016 and 2017 is not real. The decrease that seems to occur from 2014 may, in fact, only have happened since 2016 and, especially, 2017, not knowing if there was also in the last year some problems of subregist.
