The publications of the Emigration Observatory aim to provide, in an accessible format to a wide audience, information on Portuguese emigration and to make known the research and results of ongoing research in this field. They seek to contribute to grounding, with relevant information, the debates and public policies on Portuguese emigration, and are aimed in particular at researchers, students, policy makers and journalists.
The Emigration Observatory authorizes and encourages the dissemination of its publications.
As long as the Observatory and authors of the texts are identified as sources, it is authorized to copy, download or print their publications for personal use, as well as the inclusion of excerpts of such publications in personal documents, presentations, blogs, web pages and teaching materials.
All the Observatory publications are available for free download in PDF format. Whenever possible, they are accompanied by Excel-format documents, also available for download, with data that can be processed by users.
