After six years of continuous growth, Portuguese inflows to Denmark decreased by -8.4 per cent in 2024. From 2019 to 2020 there was an increase of 13.6%, from 2020 to 2021 the growth was 66.2%, from 2021 to 2022 was 12.6% and only 0.3% from 2022 to 2023. Portuguese emigration to Denmark continues to represent a very small fraction of both immigration to this country (1.7%) and total Portuguese emigration (around 1%).
