After the increase recorded in 2022, in 2023 Portuguese emigration to French territory fell again (-27.3%). It's worth noting that the drop in Portuguese emigrants is greater than the drop in total entries into the country (-3.1%), so the weight of the Portuguese in total entries decreased in 2023. Portuguese emigration to France recorded a maximum of 19,658 entries into French territory in 2012 and a minimum of 5,998 entries in 2020. In ten years, the weight of Portuguese entries in France went from 5.6% in 2013 to 1.8% in 2023.
