In 2015 fewer Portuguese entered Macau

There were 145 Portuguese who entered Macau in 2015, according to data from the Statistics and Census Bureau of the Macao SAR Government. That Chinese agency counted a total of 1,784 entries of foreigners in Macau, with the Portuguese representing 8.1% of this total. +

Between 2007 and 2013, the number of Portuguese entries in Macao registered a steady increase, more pronounced and significant as of 2010. During the period under review, there were three breaks: the first and the second, very slight, in 2008 and in 2010; The third, very marked, between 2014 and 2015. Between 2010 and 2013, on the contrary, there was a great increase in the number of entries, reaching in that last year the maximum value of the series under analysis, with 265 entries of Portuguese in Macao.
