After a decrease in the number of Portuguese entries in the Netherlands in 2020, in 2021 there is a sharp increase (+76.2%), reaching the highest value of entries in the series. Throughout the time series under analysis (2000-2020), Portuguese emigration to the Netherlands had a minimum value in 2005, with 830 entries, and a very strong growth between that year and 2008. A slight decrease between 2013 and 2015 was replaced by continuous growth in the following years, with the maximum value of the series to be recorded in 2021, with 3,406 entries.
